Created with a variety of flutes, some homemade percussion, a bit of sampling and an electronic drum kit, Ken loses moments from each day in a musical software program that can make even him sound not awful.

"The one-sided belief in the scientific view of life is based on a far-reaching misunderstanding," . "Certainly, everything it contains is real – but this represents just one half of reality; only its material, quantifiable part. It lacks all those spiritual dimensions which cannot be described in physical or chemical terms; and it’s exactly these which include the most important characteristics of all life."
|
Universe and self, sender and receiver, are one. There are experiences that most of us are hesitant to speak about, because they do not conform to everyday reality and defy rational explanation.

When you've seen beyond the veil of this reality, you may find peace of mind is waiting there, just out of your reach. Keep trying -G Harrison

I am a social liberal who hopes that everyone can find a partner that makes each of them better humans. (If
only that were remotely possible)
I am a fiscal conservative who thinks government is too big and should live within its means. (or they should
print more money...oh they do! Wow, it really does grow on trees...)
I am a political libertarian who would like to see real differences between candidates and I'd also like to see
money removed from the political campaign. (but of course that would limit the free speech rights of
corporations)
I am an individual who believes in strong community where boss and employee live and work in the same
community. Where their children play and learn together at the same parks and the same schools. (OK, I grew
up watching Leave It to Beaver)
I do believe in distribution of wealth when I see or hear that someone has bought a ten thousand dollar bottle
of wine, or a 20 million dollar house, or, or, or, .......
I believe that a whole lot of people "work the system". And we get what we have as a result...
I am environmentally aware with a Not In My Back Yard attitude, which often screws up any chance for an
improved future. (I am working on this)
I do not believe a corporation should have the same rights as an individual. That is an absurdity.
I support an isolationist foreign/military policy. Much to often, as a nation, we fight for what we value, the
"Almighty Dollar". (I guess now it's called the almighty petro-dollar)
I think trickle down economics has been shown to be a pissing game that is most beneficial to those on top.
When playing the game of Life, those who win a round or two often get to make the rules for the next round.
That is a quick road to permanent ruin for all those who lost a round or two.
We should not nation-build in other countries, but build within our nation. Our infrastructure is tattered.
I believe in foreign aid of food, shelter, and technology. Not weapons for destruction.
The right to bear arms does not mean without common sense rules and regulation of those who bear those
arms. (Personally, I'd love to have a few hand held rocket launchers)
I believe in the need for a smaller Federal government. (So did every president since and including Reagan)
I believe the Department of Defense should go back to it's original name, Department of War. And I believe
that their budget should be drastically reduced to it's original funding levels of 1776.
I support the right for women to choose. (but I don't like the choice)
I believe in help for those who need help, but welfare should not be a lifestyle choice passed down through
family lines.
I believe in long walks with or without someone to share it.
I dig this country (and planet) for all that it provides. And with a lot more thoughtfulness and mindfulness, we
could ensure equitable opportunity for every single one of us to share an appropriate portion.
